It was about a few decades ago that this Ashram next to our School became a quick escape zone from the chaos and deafening school rumblings. It was this Ashrama or Mutt as we used to refer as that gave us the option to quickly get into calm and peace. Drinking water and a nice breeze. The rarely visible sadhus clad in the saffron happy to welcome kids as naughty as us to the old grandparents who stayed upstairs and gave us goodies every once in a while. The open grounds outside was our world, where we thrived. And when the bells rang we ran back into the class and back to the routine.
There was Narendra and Oxford nearby and another School that I don't recollect now. But thankfully for all the kids around, we somehow toned ourselves and suddenly eased out once we entered the Ashram premise. The big Belpathre tree, the deep saffron walls, the black squared tiles, somehow had a cascading effect of calmness.
Thank you for your suggestion. We are in the process of enabling that.
Suggest a Kannada version of the same with an option to visitors for selecting their choice of language to view. This will be very helpful for majority of our community and Ashram devotees.
